TCP’s management team – Christopher Che, Heena Rathore and Rakesh Rathore- has over 25 years of combined experience in packaging, R&D, and international manufacturing and distribution. Along with that, they bring a track record for business results as well as a broad understanding and expertise in all of the disciplines involved in developing and delivering high quality, innovative, sustainable and affordable packaging and disposable products.
Christopher Che is the Chairman of TrueChoicePack, a subsidiary of Che International Group (CIG). Christopher Che is the founder of CIG, a multinational holding company that he started in 2005 with the objective of bringing together subsidiary companies in diverse industries through strategic acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic alliances. Under his visionary leadership, Che International Group successfully acquired Hooven-Dayton Corporation (HDC) in 2007 as its first wholly owned subsidiary. Hooven-Dayton Corporation (HDC) is a 75-year-old provider of high-quality prime product labels, flexible packaging, promotional coupons and specialty printing solutions and has two state-of-the art manufacturing facilities in Dayton, Ohio. Under his leadership as president and CEO of both CIG and HDC, both companies are experiencing exponential increases in revenues through acquisitions and organic growth. Christopher’s responsibilities include establishing a strategic vision, building cohesive executive teams to lead the companies to the next level, creating a culture conducive to sustainable growth and properly allocating capital resources.
Christopher is an accountant and veteran senior financial executive with over 20 years of extensive business experience, 17 of which were spent in chief financial officer positions with various progressive, high-profile, privately-held manufacturing, service and technology corporations. His responsibilities covered a broad spectrum including all Operations, Accounting, Finance & Administration, Human Resources, MIS and Treasury departments, as well as Risk and Benefits Management in multistate and multinational environments. He has significant expertise in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, policy and procedure administration, and design and implementation of internal accounting controls.
Christopher is a proven expert in designing, sourcing and implementing technology (ERP systems) to optimize accuracy and efficiency of accounting operations. Backed by Big 8 Public Accounting Auditing experience, he has significant experience in restructuring financial and operating procedures to provide a solid foundation for exponential growth.
Christopher’s deep entrepreneurial skills and strong ability to mentor staff, management and owners enables him to develop cohesive teams, strategic solutions to business problems and opportunities for growth both internally and through acquisitions. He is a proven strategist who has led the growth of privately held firms from $2 million to $75 million through multi-industry acquisitions and integration. Christopher has strong expertise in sourcing capital through building strong relationships with commercial banks, private equity and venture capital firms.
Christopher’s specific manufacturing experiences include over ten years in flexographic printing and packaging, ten years in corrugated box packaging, and fifteen years in the specialty chemical industry. He also spent approximately three years in the technology and service industries.
Christopher is a strong believer in giving back to the community through direct involvement. He has served as a member of the President Obama‘s Council on Jobs and Effectiveness since 2011. He is also a board member of the Dayton Minority Economic Development Council, Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce, Southern Advisory Council for the Printing Industries of America (PIA), Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, Dayton Area Business Advisory Council, and Small Business Advisory Council of the Cincinnati USA Chamber of Commerce. Christopher also serves in the membership committee of the Tag & Label Manufacturing Institute (TLMI); mentors minority and small businesses and is involved in other community outreach efforts in Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio. He served as a long-time president of the Tristate Cameroonian Association of Ohio, Indiana & Kentucky, during which he pioneered the longest-running life insurance program for Cameroonians in the U.S.
He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting with a minor in Computers from Wilmington College, Ohio in 1985. He proceeded immediately to obtain a Master’s of Accountancy degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1986.
As the President/CEO of TrueChoicePack, Heena Rathore is responsible for managing the overall business including operations and business development. She is one of the founders of TrueChoicePack.
Heena brings over 12 years of unique healthcare, operations and business development experience to the table. Heena has worked with reputed organizations including General Electric, Suzlon Energy ltd., Premier Health Partners, Miami Valley Hospital and First Niagara Bank. Having worked in various management roles, Heena has experience in business development, operations, contract negotiations and finance with a proven track record of successfully managing business operations to achieve outstanding results. Heena’s unique skill set and exceptional finance background has helped her both in managing businesses and exceeding sales and profit targets, invaluable experience that allowed her to successfully start a business from scratch and turn it into a profitable venture.
Heena has demonstrated her leadership abilities in managing a large international supply chain operations and serving large customers including many Fortune 500 companies with TCP’s unique packaging solutions. Under her guidance, BioGreenChoice® – TCP’s sustainable food service product line – became one of the leading sustainable brands in the nation. By emphasizing teamwork, communication and attention to detail, Heena offers invaluable business and finance management skills, as well as the ability to develop strong customer relationships.
She is an active member of the community, and as a result of her significant contributions, Heena was a recipient of the 2010 “40 Under 40 Award” by Dayton Business Journal and the “Woman of Distinction” award by Girl’s Scout, Southwest Ohio in 2014. Heena is a current board member of the Biodegradable Products Institute, a gold standard global trade association based in New York City that monitors and issues BPI certifications to biodegradable and compostable products. Due to Heena’s outstanding experience in sustainability, she has been invited as a speaker and committee member in developing sustainability plans and goals by many Fortune 500 companies and non-profit organizations. In the past, she has served as an active member or as a Board of Director for such organizations as We Care Arts of Dayton, United Way, Ohio Diversity Council. Since starting the business in 2012, more than 10 newspaper articles have been published about Heena’s outstanding business leadership, community contributions and championship in packaging and sustainability areas.
Dr. Rakesh Rathore serves as Chief Scientific Officer / COO of TrueChoicePack. He is primarily responsible for operations, quality management, supply chain management, procurement and technical support. He also manages research and product development areas of the company.
Dr. Rathore has proven track records in developing innovative packaging using new materials, technologies and sustainable packaging. He is co-founder of BioGreenChoice®- Manufacturer of Biodegradable & Compostable products. Dr. Rathore is an internationally renowned scientist in life sciences with extensive research experience working at prestigious institutions and universities in the US, Sweden and India.
Rakesh Rathore holds Ph.D. in Bio-Chemistry, Masters in Applied Biochemistry and Bachelors in Biology. During his research at The University of Cincinnati, he developed state-of-the-art applications in drug discovery and development technologies. Rakesh has published more than ten original research publications in reputed scientific journals and has presented his research at national and international conferences in the field of Biochemistry. He was awarded Thermo Scientific Outstanding Scientist/Technologist Award (2009) for his outstanding scientific achievements, and Honorable Mentions in Bioscience Technology’s Researcher of the Year award (2009) and ABRF outstanding poster award (2009). Rakesh is widely networked in green and waste management technology industry, complementing his strong skill set and expertise in renewable materials and sustainable technologies.
